Shopping for holiday gifts is often stressful, but Denverites can make it a good time by exploring the many holiday markets open in our area. Supporting local artisans and small businesses is always crucial and with product and shipping delays at an all-time high, this year might be the best one yet to take your wallet offline. Snag something for everyone on your list at these holiday gift hotspots:

Denver Christkindl Market

Open every day from November 19th to December 23th (yes, even Thanksgiving Day) in Civic Center Park, the Denver Christkindl Market boasts 25 artisan vendors offering home goods, jewelry, gourmet foodstuffs, and more. Shopping can really work up an appetite, so be sure to hit up their nearly 20 food vendors serving eclectic bites like Russian crepes, Polish pierogi, and German pastries.

Cherry Creek Holiday Market

30 local makers team up in Fillmore Plaza from November 18th to December 24th to bring you clothing, skincare, and more high-quality holiday gifts. While only in its second year, the Cherry Creek Holiday Market vendors offer a surprising variety of artisanal wares, so you can bet you’ll find the perfect something for your special someone.

Holiday Art Market at Olde Golden Christmas

Less than 30 minutes from Downtown Denver, the Holiday Art Market At Olde Golden Christmas gathers more than 100 makers offering ceramics, woodworking, paintings, and amazing works of art that double as thoughtful and meaningful gifts. This market runs from November 19th through December 29th (closed Christmas and the day after), so even if you can’t make it before the holidays you can still stop by before the New Year to scope out the locally made art.

Boulder County Farmers Market’s Winter Market

Mark your calendar for the first weekend in December and take a short ride out to Boulder County Farmers Market’s Winter Market to peruse over 100 vendors and their unique products. This is a perfect place to shop for a gift for your favorite food-lover, but don’t dawdle this particular market is only open for a total of 12 hours over two days.

Georgetown Christmas Market

A bit further out of town but still very accessible, the picturesque Georgetown Christmas Market runs December 4th through 12th and treats attendees to a traditional experience complete with costumed Carolers and horse-drawn carriage rides. It’s the perfect place to get into the holiday mood while shopping vendors peddle charming candles, jewelry, and other gifts.
